Westside Pacific Villages

Though families often struggle when sending their elders to care centers, the whole community experiences a loss when its most seasoned members are unable to stay at home.

Westside Pacific Villages (WPV) connects neighbors with neighbors to share skills, expertise, and support for each other, creating new possibilities as we age so we can all continue to live active, healthy, engaged lives in our communities, homes, and neighborhoods that we have grown to love.

WPV coordinates the efforts of its volunteers to provide many benefits including: transportation, help around the house, companionship, social activities and wellness programs.

The “Village Movement” started with the idea of people assisting aging citizens in their own neighborhoods with everyday tasks, prioritizing aging as a central focus for the community at large–ultimately to improve the quality of longer lives with continual growth, development, purpose, engagement, and enrichment. This work inspires a spirit of collaboration and helps people, especially older adults, maintain their connections to the larger community.

WPV serves Westchester, Playa del Rey, Playa Vista, Marina del Rey, Del Rey, Mar Vista, Culver City, Ladera Heights, El Segundo, Manhattan Beach and adjacent areas.
